María del Carmen Needham is a bilingual school psychologist with 18 years of experience conducting Spanish-language psychoeducational evaluations across diverse districts nationwide. A proud daughter of Mexican immigrants and former emergent bilingual student, she brings both personal and professional insight to her practice. Carmen serves on the executive board of the Texas Association of School Psychologists (TASP) and was recently elected as NASP’s Texas Delegate, becoming the first Person of Color and Latina to hold this position for Texas. She also fosters professional community by moderating several online groups, including Said No School Psychologist Ever, School Cycologists of Peloton, and Bilingual Evaluation Specialists–Texas.
