Dr. Megan D. Keyes is a licensed clinical psychologist with more than 20 years of experience providing specialty-level, evidence-based care for adults with trauma-related conditions. She earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University and spent 26 years with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs working with individuals with PTSD in clinical, research, training, and consultation roles. For 16 years, she served as an expert consultant with the VA National Center for PTSD’s Prolonged Exposure Therapy training program, supporting national training efforts and the dissemination of evidence-based PTSD treatments.

Dr. Keyes currently provides telehealth services through Upward Behavioral Health in Missouri and Alabama for adults experiencing PTSD, prolonged grief, anxiety, and depression. She is also an adjunct professor at the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis, where she teaches graduate students and clinicians, including intensive training in Cognitive Processing Therapy. Dr. Keyes regularly delivers continuing education workshops, conference presentations, and professional training focused on trauma assessment, trauma treatment, and translating psychological science into high-quality clinical care.
