Dr. Woods is a clinical psychologist who has been licensed for over 10 years. She specializes in comprehensive assessment across the lifespan, with particular expertise in autism, ADHD, and AuDHD. She provides clinical and consultation services at Discover Psychology and at University of Washington Autism Center.
Dr. Woods completed a postdoctoral fellowship through the University of Washington’s Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) Fellowship program. She earned her PhD and Master’s degrees from the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada.
In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Woods offers training and consultation to clinics, schools, and businesses seeking to deepen their understanding of autism, ADHD, AuDHD and other forms of neurodivergence. Dr. Woods has authored numerous academic publications, as well as articles for general audiences aimed at increasing accessible understanding of neurodivergence.
Her research centers on community-informed perspectives of autism and ADHD. She emphasizes strengths-based approaches that support neurodivergent individuals across the lifespan.
