You must be registered to participate!Providing psychological services is not as simple as knowing and applying a series of techniques or strategies to a case. The key to providing high-quality, evidence-based services is knowing when, for whom, and at what times to apply specific interventions or approaches. It is important for clinicians to use a case-conceptualization approach, by which they advance from nomothetic information derived from the literature to idiographic situations within their practice. This live webinar will identify key aspects of a cognitive–behavioral model, explaining how to use test data to look beyond diagnosis to formulate a case conceptualization that drives evidence-based intervention. The use of a specific case study involving a child with anxiety and depression will be discussed.
