As remote assessment becomes increasingly prevalent, practitioners must consider a range of practical and ethical issues to ensure successful sessions. In this presentation, attendees will learn about environmental, psychological, and cultural factors that are important for facilitating effective remote assessment sessions. They will also gain knowledge and skills in the safe and ethical use of standardized assessments in a remote environment, including strategies for reducing technology issues and maintaining assessment quality. Ethical considerations will be discussed in detail, including informed consent, adherence to ethical codes, weighing risks and benefits of assessments, and ensuring test security and documentation for remote assessment. By the end of this presentation, attendees will be equipped with practical and ethical strategies to conduct successful remote assessment sessions with clients.
